Playable World Keys

The Garden is the first open door.

World Keys are smaller playable entries into The World Beneath. The Garden is live now as a free browser preview, giving players a first working corner of the larger shared-world project.

This release is intentionally honest: Garden play is available now, and Garden progress saves to your TWB account. Cross-game reward movement is the part still held for server-side safety checks.

World Keys in motion

The first release path starts with the Garden, then expands only now that account saves and shared companion records are live. The deeper shared economy opens only when reward movement can be kept safe.

Support the project and honor Peggy

Peggy was the cat Brian rescued from a recycling center when he was 22 years old. She became his grandmother's cat, lived in the family home, and spent 15 years and 8 months as a steady source of companionship and emotional support for the whole family before passing away in May 2026.

The Guardian Angels program is meant to immortalize pets like Peggy: the animals who become family, stay with us through the hard parts of life, and deserve to be remembered inside the world we are building.

What are World Keys?

World Keys are smaller browser-game entries into The World Beneath. They are not the full shared-world RPG, and they are not just lore pages. They are focused playable spaces that let the setting become real piece by piece.

Project Shape

Smaller doors first

The full game is still being built around dungeon runs, creature growth, crafting, inventory progression, societies, and a hidden world shaped by players.

World Keys arrive before the full RPG. Account or progress sync is promised only where supported. Kickstarter should point to playable proof, not vague claims.
Story Path

Want the story beneath it?

The book and audiobook go deeper into the setting for players who want the lore foundation behind the playable releases.
